The Force is Strong: The Rise of Skywalker Will Claim Third Weekend Victory

Posted By themoviesleuth 1577 days ago on Entertainment

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com - Even as the final film in the Skywalker saga continues to separate fans and critics, the movie seems to be cranking out some decent numbers at the domestic box office. While it's still trailing Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi, the newest Star Wars movie will claim a third weekend as the champ in the U.S.. With it's numbers faltering a bit, the movie will see another $36 million in ticket sales over the post holiday run. Bringing in another $11 million on Friday alone, Disney and Lucasfilm surely won't be disappointed after once again beating down its competition. However, with the only other big budget contender being Jumanji: The Next Level, it didn't really have too much to contend with. Still, The Rise of Skywalker is not really up to snuff with other entries in the saga. Currently,

Jeepers Creepers: Reborn review. A “reboot” of sorts wasted by terrible effects and godawful dialogue. With a mystery that isn’t explained too.

Secret Plans: Marvel/Star Wars Doctor Aphra Crossover Rumored for Disney+

Posted By themoviesleuth 1598 days ago on Entertainment

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com - With the massive success of The Mandalorian and fans finally putting some of their in them ternet fury behind, it looks like Disney+ is rather hot to get another live action show onto the platform. There are rumors swirling tonight that Lucasfilm has already secretly begun production on a show that no one has even heard about yet. Before The Mandalorian premiered, Making Star Wars' Jason Ward let on that the central focus of the first season of that show would center on a child of the same species as Yoda. Now, when talking to Inverse, he had this to say:"A new Star Wars show is starting about now that nobody even knows about.  I’m hearing it’s a Lucasfilm-Marvel venture with both companies teaming up to bring a Star Wars show to the small screen.”Supposedly, the

012: SoraRabbit Watches: Star Wars The Clone Wars Season One

https://www.sorarabbit.com - The release of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker is upon us. I'm very excited, and I wanted to do something Star Wars related for my blog. However, Star Wars is talked to death and people much more knowledgeable than I have tackled it. I'm not confident that I can add anything new and unique to the commentary. (Aside from going on and on about my favorite theory where Jar Jar is a secret Sith Lord who orchestrated the rise of the Empire. Think about it. It makes a scary amount of sense.)

Because we must never forget. (Credit: Disney)

Still, I want to do something. With the release of Disney+ I found myself with a couple of options. The Mandalorian is still being aired, so I'm not ready for

Cinematic Releases: Spies in Disguise (2019) - Reviewed

Posted By themoviesleuth 1587 days ago on Entertainment

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com - CG animated films are a dime-a-dozen these days – littered in between the big Pixar or DreamWorks releases are generally far less ambitious films from smaller studios, generally short on story and with the barest hint of character development and seemingly extant only for marketing potential (which usually ends up relatively nonexistent anyway). So, it’s difficult to get excited when yet another animated family film hits theatres, particularly around the holidays. 20th Century Fox’s Blue Sky Studios, the creators of the Ice Age and Rio franchises, is banking on its newest release, Spies in Disguise, to work up some hype this holiday season. There have been plans to flesh out Lucas Martell’s 2009 animated short, Pigeon: Impossible for several years, but the resulting feature has very little

001: Shiny Treasure or That Time SoraRabbit Blogged a Blog

Posted By SoraRabbit77 1490 days ago on Entertainment

https://www.sorarabbit.com - Hello internets and people crawling on the internets. Welcome to my blog! Several things have brought me to start this thing. First off, several years ago my then-girlfriend now-wife suggested I try my hand at blogging about video games. Her reasoning was that she likes listening to me talk about the games I’ve played, so maybe others would too. I gave it a shot (more on that later) but didn't keep up with it. But now I find myself at a point where I can give it a more solid attempt. Almost two weeks ago the idea expanded and took hold and refused to let me go. So here I am now. I’ve got my coffee, my overheating laptop, the Final Fantasy IV OST playing for background, and I’m ready to blog the hell out of this blog. (I think that's the right terminology.)So who am I? You can call me Sora
