http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com -  Photo Courtesy of Marvel ComicsServing as both a great jumping on point for new readers, and an intriguing storyline for long-time fans, Marvel’s next big event, Heroes Reborn, is off to a roaring start. The premise is fairly simple, what if The Avengers never gained their powers? Captain America was never unfrozen, Thor never became worthy, The Fantastic Four never went to space, Spider-Man was never bitten by that special spider, several major Marvel heroes are stripped of their powers to entertaining results. For one reason or another the only hero with a memory of the way things were is the vampire hunter, Blade. Making Blade the early protagonist of this event is an inspiring choice, breaking the mold from the typical Iron Man and Captain America led stories. Blade is on a

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com - image courtesy DisneyThe box office continues to struggle in various parts of the world as the pandemic continues to cause damage to finances for all the major studios. This weekend saw Disney's latest animated release, Raya and The Last Dragon take a foothold in the domestic U.S. box office with it's $8.6 million take but it still is only a shade of what it would have done in normal times.A big animation hit for that studio would typically take in much higher opening grosses. Unfortunately, things may really start to improve until the summer when vaccines are much easier to come by. It did come in the number one position beating out any other competition from other newcomers like Chaos Walking and Boogie, but will need to recoup major money from its Disney+ premium rental. Strangely

Or has a new menace decided to take up the routine of capturing people and torturing them in bizarre and distinct ways?  Heading back to an earlier time when torture porn became a mainstay in lower budget indie horror, Spiral: From The Book of Saw attempts to revitalize a long dying brand with a feature that was developed by an idea from Chris Rock, who also serves as executive producer. After a four year silence, the Saw franchise returns for a new entry in the saga that continues its flesh shredding legacy while having no direct connection to the original continuity. http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com -  Alan Tudyk has long been a favorite actor of mine. Like many of my peers, I came to know him as Wash on the TV series Firefly and its sequel film Serenity. My first exposure to just what a chameleon he could be, however, was in an underrated Sandra Bullock movie, 28 Days, wherein he plays an addict who brings some much-needed humor to an otherwise serious movie. Over the years, he’s played comedic characters as well as delightfully sinister villains, and his new show, Resident Alien, happily allows him to blend the funny with the menace quite nicely. Tudyk plays an alien, Captain Hah Re, who crash-lands in a small, isolated Colorado town during a snowstorm. After meeting and supposedly killing Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle, Hah Re assumes Harry’s identity and spends four months isola

Stanley wants to see the newest cut of his work but, instead, Tomas shows him something that defies reality. This is the plot of the horror short film Electromagnetic. It establishes its characters and premise in a small dialogue exchange in the first couple of minutes that efficiently conveys everything the audience needs to know about this situation. Then, it gets Stanley and Tomas alone. The relationships between the characters are painted in broad strokes, so it can speed past them quickly to get to the crux of its action. Since this is a genre piece, and the most interesting moments occur once the men are in Tomas’ studio, that approach works strongly in its favor. The
