Vacationing in Luxury on the Gulf Coast

Posted By lovelivegreen 2195 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - Sean, Jackson, Lucy, and I recently visited Panama City Beach, Florida. My favorite time to visit the beach is during the winter. Many pools are heated, and the waters are calm and serene. On our visit, the ocean was actually warmer than the outside temperature, and it felt so wonderful dipping our feet into the warm waters of the gulf.

Vacationing with Three Oaks Farm in Coastal Georgia

Posted By lovelivegreen 2230 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - On a recent trip to Jekyll Island, our family was visiting the wharf. I went up to a ticket window thinking it was for the dolphin tour (which was amazing by the way!). I was at the wrong window, but I began chatting with Whitney, who works with Three Oaks Farm. Due to my mistake, we were able to experience Three Oaks Farm, and our great vacation became one we will never forget!

The Allure of Jekyll Island Dolphin Tours

Posted By lovelivegreen 2236 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - On a recent visit to Jekyll Island, we had the opportunity to take a dolphin tour. However, what we thought would be a fun excursion while on the island transformed into so much more. Not only did we spot dolphins in the Atlantic, but we also learned so much about the history and eco-system of the region. The island and the surrounding sea work together as a beautiful symphony that draws visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

The beauty of the wood on the beach is beyond comparison and it is the perfect place to take the family on a stroll, get engaged, married, or just to have fun in the sun.

Easy Homemade Tortillas

Posted By lovelivegreen 2257 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - I am a sucker for street tacos. However, the reason why is not because of the meat or toppings, but because of the authenticity of the tortilla. The tortillas I love, and the ones I consider genuinely authentic, are made with corn flour. These are not the traditional yellow shells that we typically eat as hard-shell tacos, but rather a white tortilla that looks very similar to flour tortillas.

Living in Luxury at the Ridge Outdoor Resort

Posted By lovelivegreen 2261 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - Camping… it is a term that usually means pulling a travel trailer or staying in a tent. However, in the last ten years, the word has taken on new meanings. Suddenly, glamping (glamour camping) has become a hot trend, and not just with lodging in campers, but in tiny houses and luxury tents as well.

Kumana Avocado Sauce

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - With cookout season upon us, it is time to bring a game changer to the party, Kumana Avocado Sauce. When first presented with the sauce, I gave some strange looks too. Avocado Sauce… is that bottled guacamole? Should the ketchup and mustard move over?

Take the Trip

Posted By lovelivegreen 2364 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - I have always loved the quote, “Life is short; buy the shoes.” In my younger days, I promise, I bought my fair share of shoes. When I see quotes like this these days, I laugh because this is like my excuse to buy something I probably shouldn’t.

A Daycation in Disneyland

Posted By lovelivegreen 2364 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - Walt Disney was a genius. To take an animated mouse and turn him into a dynasty is mind-boggling. Yet this is just what Disney did, first with cartoons and then with theme parks. While visiting Griffith Park in Los Angeles, he was inspired to create what would soon become Disneyland in California. Although there are Disney parks and resorts in six cities around the world, there is something special about the 1955 original Disney park.

Sensitive Skin Care that Won’t Break the Bank

Posted By lovelivegreen 2365 days ago on Travel

https://lovinglivinggreen.com - Lucy may have the most sensitive skin of anyone I have ever met. I should have had a clue when we were eating Kraft Mac and Cheese when she was little and the skin around her mouth turned bright red. Oh, and I can't forget the time in Panama City Beach when Lucy wanted to play with a facial mask, and it took two years and multiple trips to the dermatologist
