Regular readers of Digital Synopsis must have read our article on 25 epic logo design fails. Now, Italian graphic designer Emanuele Abrate has come up with an interesting project in which he has redesigned the 9 worst logos out of that list.
Emanuele has tried to recreate these logos as if they were commissioned to him. He’s used different typography techniques, created aesthetic logomarks, and kept the brand colors as close to the original ones as possible.
Which do you think is the most successful redesign? Check out the project below and share your feedback in the comments.

Brazilian art director Milton Omena has come up with an interesting project that imagines what logos of famous painters from Renaissance, Impressionist, and Modern Art periods would look like. He studied the painting styles and personalities of legendary artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and created a unique symbol for each one of them.
Milton, who works as an AR/VR developer for architecture visualizations, came up with the idea for this project one day when he was figuring how to expand his design boundaries and challenge himself. He decided to create visual identities for iconic painters and showcase them as a brand, with their own line of products. Check out the project here.

You might have come across comic-themed cafes and restaurants but have you ever been to a cafe that makes you feel like you’ve actually walked into a comic world?
Located in the popular Yeonman-dong district in Seoul, Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 is a place that is (literally) straight out of a comic book. From walls and furniture to dishes and cutlery, every item has been painted in shades of white and outlined with black brush strokes to make it look like an object in a monochrome cartoon.
The cafe was inspired by the Korean TV hit “W – Two Worlds” by Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo, in which the characters enter a fantasy webtoon world. The name ‘Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20’ is actually the cafe’s address. If you’re into comics, illustrations, or quirky interiors, this place is a must visi

He makes it look like the figures are life-size and he is actually interacting with them. Sometimes, he also gets his family into the act. Check out the photos here.
