The Stranger in Our Bed is a very British film that is wonderful to see in this day and age of brash blockbusters with all their overdone CGI and action sequences, this movie is one that, very much like the book, keeps you on your toes from start to finish with a couple of curve balls thrown in to keep you guessing.

That original film is a masterpiece of imagery and horror. Nothing quite like it had been seen before, and it spawned two direct-ish sequels (Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth), and then a plethora of franchise spin-offs which steadily descended into the dreadful as the studio tried to make the ideas work for them.

If like me you have seen all the Marvel movies on the big screen, then don’t miss your chance to see this one in IMAX to enjoy that expanded aspect ratio.
As with all Marvel movies, there is also an extra scene or two in the end credits, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features only one extra scene, so once you have seen it you won’t have to sit through the rest of the credits unless you want to.

With a lot of independent British-made movies you can expect a lot of grittiness and The Last Heist is no expectation with its excessive use of the F and C words the movie certainly brings home the side of the British gangster movie, that takes you on an unexpected journey as the criminals try to make any sense of what went down and the predicament that they are in during their meat up in Mick’s bar after the robbery.

Cocaine Bear is certainly a movie that lives up to its trailer, I thought the trailer was bonkers but the movie certainly had me laughing rather loudly throughout the runtime of the movie. As expected from the content of the movie it certainly suits its 15 certificate with some rather bloody scenes and several F-Bombs that strangely come from one the of kids that are lost in the woods and hiding from the bear that steals the movie.
