Newport Bridge At Sunrise by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery

https://www.madefromrigallery.com - Observing as the sun rises over Narragansett Bay's Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge. This view is from the piers where the Jamestown to Newport ferries once ran. That run ceased over fifty years ago.

The bridge has since become iconic, featured on the representative quarter in 2001. It is also the longest suspension bridge in New England.

This morning, it is a glorious spot highlighted by the sun. The cleat on the pier awaits boats and in a few weeks, the empty moorings will have occupancy. A calm spring sunrise illuminates future activity.
