Fishing Boat Comfort by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery

Posted By MadeFromRI on Photography

https://www.madefromrigallery.com - Last year, about a year ago exactly as of this writing, we were itching to get out. We slipped out of the house, almost feeling like we did something wrong, to stretch our legs in the open air. We found ourselves in the comfort of the familiar docks in the Port of Galilee.

We assuaged our newfound "COVID guilt" with an evening stroll among the fishing boats. Some find the fishing port scents overwhelming. I grew up along various fishing piers. The smells were lively and comforting to me through the filter of my mask. Timeless. Familiar. I look back at the images now and still find comfort.
