With no real announcement on whether or not it will get multiple seasons, it looks as though the first set of episodes are done filming as posted by actress Ming-Na Wen on Twitter. The new series is expected to premiere on the streaming outlet this December, months before the next batch of episodes of The Mandalorian are released. We'd expect that with success, more seasons will be added. Wen will be reprising her role as bounty hunter Fennec Shand, who first appeared during The Mandalorian but was also featured as an animated character on the animated show, The Bad Batch. Actor Temuera Morrison is back as Boba Fett. The actor originally played Jango Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and was brought back to the galaxy far, far away as the most notorious bounty hunter in the universe. There had been numerous attempts to bring a solo Boba Fett project to the screen in the past, including a project by Josh Trank but those plans were scrapped.
