With theaters still hurting from the pandemic, re-releases of big budget movies seem to continue drumming up interest. It's been announced that the Lord of the Rings trilogy remaster will be in IMAX cinemas beginning tomorrow. The Peter Jackson film trilogy went on to earn nearly $3 billion in its theatrical run and will now get another proper cinematic jaunt as it hits most major theater chains beginning on Friday, February 5th 2021. Considering there are no big studio releases this weekend, this could prove to be a success with no other real competition. At 90 years old, Clint Eastwood shows no signs of slowing down. The actor and director is currently working on his next project, Cry Macho. The film which Eastwood has wanted to make for 40 years is finally in post production and has received a (hopefully) post-pandemic release date from WB. The studio has given the star's next film an October 22nd, 2021 release date, which will hopefully stick. Eastwood stars and directs this latest feature from Warner. The movie is based on the novel of the same name from N. Richard Nash. The “Undark” paint made watch faces glow in the dark, making the watches a hot commodity. Despite the passage of the food and drug safety act in 1906, Radium was being sold in bottles as a wonder drug that could cure anything from cancer to impotence, while American Radium knew full well the deadly effects of radiation. The film tells the story of watch painters who fell ill after consuming large amounts of radium paint from licking paintbrushes.
