In blog posting frequency, you are the decision maker - if you want to post 3 times a week, have the ideas to do it (I know, I don't) and have the time to do it, go ahead. Now, if you want to get more page views for your site, posting more frequently will certainly help. But, posting more frequently doesn't guarantee you any new traffic.
