Poetry is one of the oldest forms of self expression in the world. It has as many facets as there are people who read and write poetry. One of those people is a lady known only as The Persian Poetess. And when you enter this lady’s world, you enter the world of Trending Poetry. An ingenious site where she takes the latest tidbits in the day’s Twitter Trends and turns them into inspirations works of art.
In her piece titled Sing Sweet Bliss, our little Poetess took trends of the day such as “stop bullying”, “Barbara Streisand”, and “#thevoice” and created a tantalizing piece that sings to the powers of the human spirit. Toward the end of this poem, there’s a little background information about some of the things found within the poem itself. Though it’s not a large poem, it is a powerful one.

The poem Flight Above Heckler’s Verse is a great piece about dealing with the aggravations of life while refusing to give up and finding the strength to carry on. It was created using the trends of #childhoodmemories, Kenan & Kel, and Poor Kurt. At the end of this poem, our Persian Poetess has added a background on some of the more interesting aspects of the poem and the trends used.
But it’s her poem Error Of Your Terror that seems to carry the most weight. It’s a powerful piece with very few words. Though some of the trends used in this piece have nothing to do with the war on terror, the trends used such as #osama, Abbottabad, and Navy Seals gave this piece it’s flavor, it’s fervor, and it’s ferocity.
And finally she’s written a piece called Education Is A Commodity. It takes a hard look at the way our world put more emphasis on the need for money than the need for education. It used the trends Another Cinderella Story and UnB, among others, and created a virtual image of a world that is anything but fiction.
There is a lot of reality in the lines created by the Persian Poetess. And though she’s done all of this thanks in part to Twitter’s trending topics of the day, she’s done so with a wider vision than most. And though reading any of these poems would bring a tingle to your spine, you can listen to them through her site via a link on each post. Check out what else this creative young lady is doing by following her on her Google+ page. But in order to see her at her best, check her out on Twitter.
