It’s official and will most likely generate a lot of blogengage guest blogging activity.

We will be hosting The Blog Engage Best of the Guest Blogger Year End 2011 Contest and here’s how it goes.

Over the next 11 months all our community members have a chance to win 1000USD cash on top of all the rest of our cash prizes for guest blogging contests.

How you ask?

Throughout 2011 Blog Engage will be hosting several guest blogging contests with prizes equaling 500USD, 300USD, 200USD, and 100USD.

Dec 01 2011 I will allow all our guest bloggers that have submitted contest articles to pick the one article they want to use towards The Best of the Guest Blogger Year End 2011 Contest. These articles will be judged and the winner, the blogger who has the best article in 2011 will be awarded 1000USD.

The more articles you write throughout the year will dramatically improve the chances of you winning. Blog Engage community participation and dedication is a determining factor in winning the 1000USD.

Who can participate?

All Blog Engage members can write for us and have the opportunity to win any prize offered in this contest. We only ask that you have a valid paypal account to accept your winnings and prizes. To be included into the year end 2011 contest you must participate in at least one other guest blogging contests.

Post Guidelines

1. Guest posts must be at least 450 words, not to exceed 1000 words.

2. You may have as many links as you wish in the body of the content. However, please limit links to your projects or websites to your bio. Absolutely no affiliate links allowed.

3. Your bio must have a Gravatar. Please use a picture of yourself and not a logo.

Rules and Regulations

It’s very important you read this section carefully. If the Rules and Regulations aren’t followed your article will not be accepted and you will not have a chance at winning the 1000USD.

1. You must write an article about the year end contest including all our sponsors links. You must maintain and update this article as the year goes on and as additional sponsors are added to the sponsors page.

2. You must write about this Best of the Guest Blogger Year End 2011 Contest ASAP because only articles submitted to our community blog after you write about the contest will be accepted. This means you cannot submit an article you wrote in January on the community blog if you only blogged about our contest in February. It’s very important that you blog about the Best of the Guest Blogger Year End 2011 Contest ASAP.

3. All links to our sponsors must be do follow including sponsor images.

4. Register for an account here and fill out your bio info Also please get a gravatar if you don’t have one.

Your written content will be judged and have a lot to do with your chances of winning. Making sure your articles it top quality and good content should be very important to you.

Social Networking

A large percentage of judging will be based on your ability to social network and market your articles. This includes sphinn, blog engage, digg, twitter and whatever else you want to promote with.

Comments and Discussions

Having the ability to engage your readers is a must. The total amount of comments you have on your article will have a large impact on the judging. We want to see what your readers are saying and would like to see you creating conversations with them.

Number of articles submitted

The more articles you write throughout the year will dramatically improve the chances of you winning. Blog Engage community participation and dedication is a determining factor in winning the 100USD. This is such a determining factor that you could simply win by writing the most articles within the community for 2011.
