I’ve started running over the last few months and so far I have been enjoying it a lot.
I started at 3 kilometer runs and now I’m up to 5 kilometers. I’m averaging about 35 minutes to run the full 5 kilometers. My best time was 30 minutes and that was on a good day.
I’m not sure if I told you what our running group friends did for our wedding present but it was one of our favorite gifts.
They all got together and bought my wife and I new Asics shoes and Lu Lu running socks. I was very happy.
It’s funny to because I was going to buy new shoes and they all kept insisting I waited until my wedding was over. I thought they wanted me to spend less money on other things and more on the wedding.
Little did I know they had already bought me some runners already.
Now as all you know I’m a huge tech geek so the first thing I started doing when I first started running was testing iphone apps that allow you to track your over all running performance.
Without doubt the best app I used and still use to this day is named Run Meter.

So if you enjoy running and want to start tracking your performance I suggest getting this app it works wonders.

I consider myself a runner wannabee – I thoroughly enjoy running, but I am too overweight at this point to run for too long without hurting my knees
What a cool gift your friends got you! And that app looks great, I will definitely look into it, even for my pathetically short routes.
