When I’m looking for a job, I dress my best and present the best side of me. The same can be said for when it comes to our blogs. The blog I’m sharing with you represents this type of professionalism. It’s odd for me to feature our clients in this manner but I think it’s an important lesson for all the blog engage members to learn.

How you present your blog to the internet for the first time, is how people will judge you. The Austerity Kitchen is by far one of my favorite designs when it comes to blogs designs.

Christine Bumgarthuber has brought a collection of stories and recipes together in her enthralling site, The Austerity Kitchen. A mix of culinary secrets, historical attributes, and amusing memories.

I do however have sad news, Christine Baumgarthuber has announced quote, “Beginning Monday, February 6, The Austerity Kitchen will appear as a column at The New Inquiry. This site will serve as an archive and will continue to present recipes and historical vignettes from time to time. The new Kitchen will feature essays on various topics culinary and cultural, anecdotes, recipes, book reviews, vintage illustrations and photographs.” unquote.

So now we say good bye to another great blog. But I guess it’s not all bad news, she did get a sweet job out of it. Way to go Christine.
