Over the next week I will be making some new modifications to this site that will require you to refresh your browser when visiting Blog Engage.

One of the biggest changes you will have noticed is the ability to track articles your friends have added to Blog Engage. On every story page your friends add you will see a triangle star like this.

You can see it behind the voting button in the top right corner of every submitted story. The deal is without refreshing Blog Engage this might be in the way of actually voting right now.

Friends Activity

Some members have been complaining about this new feature blocking their ability o vote on articles. If this is happening to you follows these instructions and repeat until the issue is resolved.

Step 1. Make sure you are on the Blog Engage home page
Step 2. Hold down the CTRL button on your Keyboard
Step 3. While holding down CTRL press F5 to refresh the entire Blog Engage website

This should reload Blog Engage and make it look and feel the way it was intended with the new modification. This new symbol allows you to easily track all your friends submitted articles. If it doesn’t show it means the user is a Blog Engage customer and until they vote it will not show the symbols so don’t bet confused.

Hi Brian, I noticed the triangle star was back, but I never knew what it was an indication of. Thanks for making that clear and showing us what to do!

Previously I was using the Favorite option to keep up w posts but this should make things easier. I have also had several logging in issues where the system wouldnt accept a unique password I set up and then I had to keep getting a random password reset

Hi William, if you pay close attention at the time you can’t log in you will also notice no data is being displayed on our home page such as comments and stories. I’ve been having issues with the site where it crashes the server. So there’s nothing wrong with your account it’s just that the database is down and cannot be accessed until I restart it. Sorry for the inconvenience this causes you!
