I was very happy to see the new Facebook app for smartphone functionality. I immediately found it more productive for marketing and promotion.

The first thing I noticed was the new sidebar menu. It allows us easy access to groups and other profiles the previous app didn’t have integrated well. I found the previous version to be lacking most of Facebook’s marketing functionality so see these changes was refreshing and welcoming.

You will also see in the header they have added easy access to our Friend Requests, Direct Messaging and Recent Notifications. I’m pretty impressed overall with the recent changes and perhaps will use the Blog Engage Facebook group a little more moving forward!

What’s your thoughts? Do you think these new features will help you market and promote better as opposed to the older version of this software? I for one love the new changes!
