December 16th 2009 we launched a revenue sharing program with a company named Crowda.
Please take note Crowda is temporarily down due to server issues. You cannot check your account at this time.
I wanted to reach out to our members and see what their thoughts were regaridng the lack of success we have had.
I want feedback from you all helping me determine if it’s something we should continue looking at or using.
We do have an alternative. We can switch back to Google and see how that works out for everyone. With Google you simply set up your PUB number in your profile and when the story page is visited you have a chance of the ad being displayed to be yours.
Setting up the Google Channel will allow you to track your exact earnings from blog engage.
It’s been two months with Crowda and we haven’t even hit 40 USD in total let alone for one individual.
So what are your thoughts? Post a reply and let me know what you think.
Should we move beck to Google or should we stick it out with Crowda

Given that I’m already earning good money with Google on various sites, I’d prefer to combine those efforts rather than have another trickle that has to be managed.

I agree Alison and with the addition of the blogengage channel to your adsense you can track what earnings are from blogengage. Let’s see if more people weigh in and what their opinions are.

Brian, like I mentioned on your “let’s chat” post. I haven’t done well with CrowdA and it seemed like there was a problem with the tracking. I agree with Alison, that using Google Adsense keeps everything in one place. I would love to know if anyone has ever reached the payout with CrowdA. It was worth a try but I’m not pleased with it.

Ileane I don’t think anyone is pleased with it. I don’t think people are making money and I know for a fact no one has gotten a payout. The earnings are slow and even if it’s the same with Google at least it’s going towards your total goggle pay. Let’s see what other people say about it.

Brian,
I think we need to change back to Google. I have made very little. One of my adsense channel has made more in a day then the life time of my crowda account.

one word . ADSENSE
Another vote for AdSense here.
I’m with the AdSense people. I especially agree with Alison that we all manage so many things online that Crowda just becomes just something else to keep track of. It doesn’t sound like it’s paying off. I also use other revenue sharing sites with my AdSense account. It seems blogengage is the only one in my portfolio that doesn’t.
@bbrian017 – Thank you for being democratic about this.
Voting also for Adsense.
I have earned a little bit more, than 1$ so far. I have noticed, that crowda’s PPC is too low.. the lowest was ~0,02$ and the biggest ~0,09$.
Thanks for asking, Brian:)
