I’m two years into my blogging project and I must admit I’ve asked myself if could keep going a few times. I’ve spent a lot of time and dedication building this social network and I’m still not sure if it’s paying off. I’m happy and I’m starting to learn the basics behind the scenes of successful blogging.
For those that don’t know I started blogging after I started blogengage.
We have to remember in today’s blogging environment it’s very competitive and in order to lead the path of a pro blogger you have to be innovate, unique and consistently provide good quality content. Allow me to take a moment and list exactly what you need to start blogging.
How to start blogging
- Free Hosting at minimum and upgrade the package as needed
- One personal computer or electronic typing device
- The willingness to learn and accept criticism
- The ability to consistently have unique articles and to be original
- The respect of yourself and other bloggers
- The willingness to sacrifice something important
All resources that can be used to successfully launch your blog should be taken advantage of. Social bookmaking sites and other marketing and promotional communities should not be ignored. Creating quality back links and building on personal relationships will help you become successful in your blogging career. How many of you right now are reading this and can call me Brian? Creating small and realistic goals for yourself is your first step. I don’t want to see a bunch of new bloggers setting unrealistic goals and not meeting them. When you fail it could affect your willingness to continue blogging so like I said set realistic goals and the time lines in order to accomplish these goals.
Tips to listen to before you start blogging
- Ensure you read the full article when leaving comments
- Provide quality and beneficial feedback
- Treat others as you wish to be treated (in most cases lol)
- Socially Engage with the Bloggers Articles
- Be professional and respectful

These are simple yet great steps on how to start blogging. The willingness to learn, to be criticized and to be trained are also important. These are out stepping stone to successful blogging. There are may ways to earn money online and one way is to earn money from blog. It is not easy but it is not impossible.
