Blog Engage RSS Syndication Subscription Service Bronze Membership

I’m very happy to announce we have integrated a rewards program here on Blog Engage that will benefit our members from visiting and engaging with our community.

I will be doing many rewards so make sure to visit often and check out what is happening. So far I have created three rewards our members can earn and they are as follows.

The first is worth 25,000 points and is the Blog Engage Gold Membership Services. This can be achieved by visiting, commenting and liking us on Facebook.

The second is a Bronze membership. It’s a little easier to obtain and can be achieved by visiting, commenting and liking us on Facebook.

The third is a spotlight here on the community blog. We will write about your blog, share it with our readers and add you to the slider page for one full month.

To find out more simply click the little red rewards button in the top right of the Blog Engage website. Also over the next 24 hours I will trying to set it up so you also get points for voting, tweeting and more. Stay tuned and stay engaged!

If you see a little red flag anywhere on Blog Engage you can learn by hovering it. Then you will be told what can be done to earn more points.

That’s a good move brian. It will help users stay actively on BE. My suggestion would be that you could add some more activities to gain a reward. Because liking on FB and commenting can be done once. Then how can one reach 1000s of points ?

Hi Mani, I’m pretty new to this so I’m still learning how to successfully add new ways to gain points. Once I learn how to do it I hope to have points for all the Blog Engage activities. I would like to see submitting, commenting, tweeting, liking all be part of the points system. It’s just a little learning curve for me right now. make sure to visit often for updates!

Hi Justin, I agree it’s very cool. Will you be trying it out and installing or are you going to sit back and enjoy the ride for a bit and test it out? If I’ve learned anything about you over the past 4 years your already testing it LOL

I have to learn more, like how it tracks points. It doesn’t seem to give points for leaving comments or every visit to a different page, in fact visiting the same site 2x in one day doesn’t give more points than the 1st time. So it depends on how configurable it is and how much it ties into WordPress, realistically if I can reward people for commenting and then offer bonus prizes like free software or even gift cards for reaching milestones this may give truly great incentive.

I would also have to see how much pageload time and performance impact it would have. I see BlazingMinds is already using it.
