Building relationships using the blog engage social community

WooThemes - WordPress themes for everyone

Alright sit down, grab a coffee because this is going to be a filled and entertaining article on how to use our social community to build your personal network and meet new friends. Blog Engage offers many unique ways in order to market and promote your blog.

The first thing I would like to discuss is adding friends to your profile and becoming an active community member. Blog Engage allows all members to have a personalized profile section. This allows you to add a link to your blog and personal information about yourself

Within your profile page you will have the ability to see all the friends in which you added and all your friends status updates. Please remember if you don’t add the members as a friend they will not see your status updates.

After you start adding friends and being active within the community you will see status updates start appearing on your profile page. Again in order to see status updates you have to add members to your friends list. You can add a friend my visiting their profile and selecting the “add to friends list” button.

Why is adding friends so important?

if you’re asking this question right now then perhaps you need to read some articles on the importance of social media networking and marketing. Adding friends to your blog engage profile allows you to do the following,

  • Easily track friends activity
  • Keep up to date on the latest submissions
  • Send personal messages to like minded bloggers
  • See who’s commenting on blog articles

Submitting articles helps too

Many members miss out on this amazing opportunity to market their blog. When you submit your articles take a look at who’s voting for you. Don’t be a fool go and thank them for the vote! Visit their blog and heck leave a comment. Trust me lazy bloggers don’t do well at blogengage. You get out from the community based on what you put into the community. I’ve always said this from day one, you don’t get something for nothing.

Brian, you make an excellent point. I found that since I have been here the best way to build relationships is to give in order to receive. And everyone knows that making comments and voting is the best way to be proactive! Don’t be shy, get out and make yourself know. You are my friend and you have my vote and my comment. Cheers!
