Word of the week is “Blogging Goals”
Hello, everyone as we know the start of a new year is a time when a lot of us look at our goals for the year. Why it is important to be setting goals though out the year the new year really helps get everyone thinking.
Based on the votes the word for this week will be blogging goals. If you wrote something recently within the last week or two on this let me know and I will add it to the wrap up if not hurry and public blog about your goals. Did you know those that publicly talk about their goals have a better chance of hitting them.
Why participate
Because all articles submitted to the challenge will be promoted on by me here on our social linking directly to your word challenge post. This also includes retweets from myself and Brian with over 5000 followers. Also other member will be joining us in conversations on your blog. This is a great way to find new readers and get comments.
The challenge
I challenge all the members here in our community to write an article about or regarding the weekly word which will be announced Monday. The article doesn’t have to be of any special length simply write about the topics and submit your article to the blogengage
Also do me a favor and post about the word challenge as I would like for more to enter. You have till Friday to comment here with a link to your post to get credit in the weekly wrap up.

Alison, I had the same problem I think Brian moved some things around this week. Looks like he created the blog club which was where the link to the blog was. Now the blog is lower on the 3 tab.

Man! I missed the deadline???

Bjorn, your good we don’t have an offical deadline yet. Going to work on a little better rules for next week. I thinking deadline is going to be Friday by 5:00PM PST. That Pretty much gives everyone a full week to enter as long as we get the word anounced on Monday. down side is we only get 2 days to vote on the words unless we figure something else out for the voting of the words.
I will be sure to include you in the wrap up with will not go out till more then likely Friday Night.

About the new word of the week, how about starting the new word voting at the end of the week, but always for the next week? So, we’d be voting now for the word of the week of 11 jan. The result of the vote is made public at the same time that the deadline for the writing ends, and the new vote starts. So always a seven day vote, and seven day writing period.
