I’m starting a random Blog Engage User Tip activity where every time I come up with a tip that can benefit our users I will write about it here on the blog. I will also add a link to each tip on our FAQ Page.

I thought it would be a good time to remind our members that Blog Engage allows you to display your very own Google ads on your submitted or syndicated story pages. This post is specific to the Blog Engage main site only.

Google Adsense is easily set up by visiting your Blog Engage profile, selecting Modify and adding the entire Google PUB number including the word PUB into your profile area. Don’t forget to hit save, hey to be safe, go back in, edit and save again. Let’s make sure it’s added correctly the first time.

If you don’t have a Google account make sure to sign up it’s free and great way to generate online income. Visit Google and search Adsense Program so sign up today. The area your looking for if you’re already a Google Adsense user is shown in the image below.

To demonstrate how the a Adsense Revenue Program works I’m going to use the account of my good friend Geoserv. If you visit his profile you will see he has edited his information and added his Google Adsense PUB number.

This means when anyone visits his story pages and clicks an ad they will be clicking his very own Google Ad. Please also take note the Google PUB number Geo has on his profile for later reference.

From here select the story named, 9 Blogs I Found on Blog Engage. When we proceed to that page we will see an ad is on display for this story. If you right click and view the properties of the Google ad you will see it matches the Google Pub number Geo added to his profile.

When you inspect the code you will see the Geo’s code is being displayed and he will make money from any clicks on that ad. I’m using FireBug a Firefox add-on and that’s why I was able to easily search his pub number.

What’s the point of all this?

When you add your PUB Number your account will have 100 percent adsense revenue earned on any of your story pages. You will always see your ads on your story page and will never be shared with me or other members. That spot will become your full time permanent add.

Track your exact Blog Engage earnings

Most importantly we want to have our members understanding how much money they can generate from Blog Engage so I’m also writing how to track your Blog Engage Adsense Revenue Earnings.

First you must login to you Adsense account and select the Adsense set up tab. From here select the channel tab and proceed to the websites section.

  • Select AdSense for Content
  • Select +Add new URL channels hyperlink
  • Type in the URL address for Blog Engage in the box
  • Click on Add channels button

Now you should be able to filter your Adsense earning by channel. If you go back to the main page it should look like this.

Now all the earnings you earn and page views from the Blog Engage URL will be shown in your filter. This is how you can see if you are in fact making money from Blog Engage.

If you need any help with setting this up please see the forum topic. Thanks to everyone for all your support I hope you make some money using our revenue community.
