I ask all our members to add these buttons so we can socially engage with you when you submit your blogs articles to Blog Engage. This allows us easy access to all of our most favorite and interactive social media websites.
If you don’t believe me look at what some of our top members have to say about it,
1. Just Ask Kim, Digg Digg Review
2. James from Evolutionary Designs
3. Mani from Daily Blogging
4. Dana from Letupdate
You know FYI I used the Blog Engage search to find all these articles! thanks for submitting your content everyone so I could share it here in the articles. So don’t miss out any longer. Download Digg Digg and install it to your wordpress blog. Make sure to add the Blog Engage social share button as well.

Hello whitegyr, if you add the digg digg button you will see right away it loads very fast! Trust me I am using it on my personal blog and it’s really great! You can see it in action here, http://www.seomkt.com/ let me know if you end up using it I’m sure you will be very happy with the end result!

Hi Latief, yes this is the concern of many bloggers that want to add the Blog Engage buttons so bad but they are not good at coding. The Blog Engage has been included with the Digg Digg and is so each to set up!

I use sharebar myself, the floating share in the side that slides while you read keeps it noticeable at all times. Typically you want the share buttons at the bottom of an article because when people are done you want them to have access to share right away. I know that is open for opinion, but I find I can share articles best when it is right in front of me when I am done with the article.

Hi Justin, yes the sharebar is also nice I’ve seen it on your site for a while now. Do you know if it also supports blog engage or was that something you manually had to add? One thing I see about share bar is it doesn’t fit on widescreen website designed.

I did manually have to add the code, wasn’t hard but might turn off some bloggers who don’t want the extra step. It is just “add new button”, “cut paste BE button code” and set which position number, not a big deal.

Hey that sounds pretty easy Justin,. Perhaps I will be lucky enough to be included in their plugin and we can also recommend them. I recommended Digg Digg because it’s easy to use, install and make it fit to your blog. Sounds like all the share bar is missing is the blog engage buttons. Maybe I will contact them and see if they will add it.

Justin, I loved the ShareBar plugin but it was causing a major issue for me in IE 8. I’m using Thesis and readers were complaining that the bar was appearing right over the middle of my posts. I gave up trying to figure it out and I reverted to AddToAny which I’m really not happy with.

Hi Brian!
This sure is wonderful news, and I need to thank you especially as I know this post is meant for me
I did see the link http://www.seomkt.com/ though the buttons counters come as a square box over the button- thus the BE button fit in well. I wonder if Mkyong has also been kind enough to add the horizontal counter buttons, for those who want to use it sideways,m instead of going upwards with the counters.
Thanks once again, and am glad that BE has been added into Digg Digg

Hi Brian
Social buttons are just a must on a blog today if you ask me. I use Sharebar and have also added some code manual to add buttons the way I wanted them in the bottom of my posts. I don’t understand people that do not at least have a twitter button on their blog. Another thing I don’t understand is that some people forget to get their twitter name added to their twitter-button. They simply don’t get any twitter mention from the people sharing their posts. I see that a lot too.
bbrian017
December 16th, 2011
Hi Thomas, funny you mention the fact that many people don’t add their twitter code. I don’t understand how it can be missed it’s step 2 of 3 when setting up your twitter button code with twitter. I will not tweet an article without the authors twitter name being in the tweet it’s a personal rule of mine. Justin was mentoring sharebar above I think I’m going to contact them and see if they can add blog engage to it as default. You never know unless you ask right?

Hi Brian,
I would love to use this. However, in attempting to disable what is already there and adding new plugin doesn’t seem to work for me. You know I’m really ignorant about this type of stuff. If someone wants to walk me through the process, it would be appreciated. I’ve spent at least 45 minutes trying to do this new plugin to no avail.
Sounds like a good thing though. Sally

Hi Sally, I suggest two things, log into your WP admin and clear the cache for your WP Super Cache plugin, then clear the cache on your website browser. Once done come back and let me know if it’s working for you. Also p.s. you used the wrong e-mail again commenting here. Maybe it really is time to clear the old cache huh?

December 17th, 2011
Strangely enough after using DiggDigg for almost a year it started causing my blog to not load anything after the place where its code was inserted so in effect my post pages were not loading beyond the top as of a few days ago.
I went through several plugins to find out what was making this happen and my posts only began fully loading when DiggDigg was deactivated so I decided to delete it and install TF Social Share for floating options on the left side of posts which ended up being much simpler to use anyway plus it loads fast
Don’t know why DiggDigg began conflicting with my site all of a sudden but I was glad to find a swift alternative..hope this helps anyone who may have run into similar issues.
btw,
I put BlogEngage voting options on after my posts some time ago and didn’t mind doing it manually at all..

Caleb I think I know 99% what the issue is! If I’m right you have a plugin installed for caching your website, “Performance Something” Every time you make a change on the Digg Digg you have to go to the wp-admin header drop down menu and clear all caches and CTRL F5 your blog for it to load correct again.

Hi Brian,
I’ve tried out probably all the different social sharing bars. Digg Digg, I found, generated random code that sometimes broke m site annd slowed down m load speed. I use a lesser known plugin called getsocial. It loads quickly and supports adding custom buttons so I am able to put a blog engage button on the bar.
