Sadly, the blue theme is gone. It’s far too large, over 8mb and our current theme just over 1mb. Loading times on Blog Engage were just too much for us to enjoy the site and all it’s great features. For this reason you can see we have launched a new theme for our main site and community blog.

I will be redoing the about Blog Engage page along with other sections of the site so please bare with me over the next week or two as I complete the transition from old theme to the new.

The site load times are dramatically faster (by 10 seconds) as you may have already noticed. If you’re visiting the site for the first time remember to clear your cookies and browser cache to see all of Blog Engages new features and theme elements. If you have any questions, comments or just want to share your thoughts on the new theme please comment below.

With the new theme comes the return to democracy, the right to vote up or down on an articles. The power is now returned to our members to manage and control quality of content. Vote with caution and enjoy the new feature.
