I wanted to touch base some what regarding my latest idea,The Blog Engage Blogger Spotlight Contest. The first thing you have to understand is this is nothing like any of our past contests for two main reasons.
1. We no longer require you to write an article linking to all our sponsors. I know how you feel about this and I’ve listened to our members concerns.
2. We no longer require you to write a guest post as an entry.You will simply write Blogger Spotlights here on our community blog or your own blog.
The Blog Engage Blogger Spotlight Contest is all about writing Blogger spotlights. Writing a spotlight is similar to writing a review but we do not require you to provide any past experience examples.
We don’t want you our contestants to feel obligated about writing positive reviews about our bloggers sponsors. A spotlight is more of a commercial about a bloggers blog, what they write about and why your readers should visit them.
This is why we want you to simply write about them, their blog and what they are doing on their blog that might be an interest to your readers. Again I want to stress this is not a review it is a spotlight of our blogger sponsors.
Some of the things our contestants should be including into their spotlights but are not limited to are as follows. Please use your imagination and be innovative.
1. The content about our blogger spotlights must be unique
2. The article must contain social media profiles
3. The links must be do follow
4. Market and promote your spotlights articles on social networks
5. Information regarding their blog
6. Information regarding their blog content
7. Links to internal pages and their home page
8. Features and benefits of visiting the blog and becoming a reader

Business Spotlights hold top importance in our Blogger Spotlight Contests. You, our Blogging Contestants are given 150 points for each individual Spotlight you do. These points are used towards winning our Spotlight Contests. Spotlights can be done on our community blog or your own.
Platinum Spotlights hold second top importance in our Blogger Spotlight Contests. You, our Blogger Spotlight Contestants are given 100 points for each individual Spotlight you do. These points are used towards winning our Spotlight Contests. Spotlights can be done on our community blog or your own.
Gold Spotlights hold third top importance in our Blogger Spotlight Contests . You, our Blogger Spotlight Contestants are given 50 points for each individual Spotlight you do. These points are used towards winning our Spotlight Contests. Spotlights can be done on our community blog or your own.
You have 45 days to write as many Blogger Spotlights as you can and when it’s all said and done I will tally up the points for each contestant and determine who the top winners are. Gaining full points on a blogger spotlight will be determined by the amount of research and quality information each Blogger Spotlight has.
