I know many people have questions regarding the latest 700 USD guest blogging contest so I’m going to do my best to give you as much information within this post as possible.
Blog Engage is allowing anyone of it’s members to participate in the contest. If you write an article on our community blog and set it to pending I will publish it within the next 24 hours.
All guest articles will be added to the front page slider named featured news. The article will stay there for a full week and be removed 7 days after it’s been added.
A maximum of two articles will be submitted per day. Under no circumstances will more then two articles be submitted per day. This is good to take note of because if we have a bunch of last minute articles come October only the ones submitted 24 hours before the 20th will be published and all others will not be included in the contest.
We will allows up to 15 days after the contest for members to market and promote their article. Shortly after that the winning articles will be announced.
Quality of the articles
Your written content will be judged and have a lot to do with your chances of winning. Making sure your articles it top quality and good content should be very important to you.
Social Networking
A large percentage of judging will be based on your ability to social network and market your articles. This includes sphinn, blog engage, digg, twitter and whatever else you want to promote with.
Comments and Discussions
Having the ability to engage your readers is a must. The total amount of comments you have on your article will have a large impact on the judging. We want to see what your readers are saying and would like to see you creating conversations with them.
Number of articles submitted
Obviously submitting more then one article will help you win. I will take the highest scored article and use that as your official submission for the contest.
Tweet and retweet
It’s very important to market your articles. I don’t know how much I can stress this. Finding people to comment and engage your article could be the difference form winning of losing. Make sure to tweet and re tweet your article. This is big money here so don’t waste anytime.
How to get started
- Register for an account here and fill out your bio info
- Contact me admin (@) blogengage dot com letting me know your username
- I will review your account and upgrade it so you can write for the blog
- Write your post, save it and it will be reviewed and published with 24 hours
- Images have to be linked by url in your article or sent to me, I will manually add then to your post

Brian, in paragraph 4, I think you should correct “then” to “than” because it may make bloggers misunderstanding.
So you will base on the number of tweets, number of comments on articles, social bookmarking score, etc to score articles and select winners, right?
