Blog Engage RSS Syndication Subscription Service Bronze Membership

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to put out another reminder about our $1000 Best Guest Blogger contest. This contest started on January 1st of 2011 and will officially end on January 1st of 2012. And though we’ve just entered into the 11th month, there is still time to get in on this and have a real chance of winning.

Because this is such a large prize, we have to have a few rules in place and a few sponsors to help with the prize. And before I get on with the rest of it, let me take a moment to thank our sponsors. Without them, this would not be possible.

Another thing that needs to be stressed is that you have to write a post about his contest on your own blog. It MUST be a new post and it has to have the same Sponsor Image as seen above. Simply cut and paste the code in the little box above into your own post. The post needs to be added to your own site. Once you’ve done that and the post is live, simply shoot me an email at admin(@)blogengage(.)com letting me know. Even if you’ve written the best guest post on the site, I cannot accept it if this part of the contest is NOT completed.

And speaking of the contest, let’s get on with the rules and regulations. In case you’ve been wondering what types of guest posts I’ll accept, think about the kinds of things you’d want seen on your own sites. Think along the lines of blogging, social media, how-to’s, driving traffic to your site, or dos and don’ts.

In order to get started, you first have to register for an account and make sure to fill out your info in the bio box. Once you’ve finished with this part, send me your user name so I can upgrade your account. Please understand that this is completely separate from your regular Blog Engage account.

Next, log into the backend of the site and add your guest post for consideration. Make sure it’s a completely new article written expressly for us and has a minimum of 450 words. Please keep in mind that your post won’t be automatically published. It will be set to pending and will need to be approved.

You are allowed to have links within your posts as long as they are relevant to the article. Any personal links should be kept within your bio and no affiliate links will be allowed. If your post is approved, be sure to promote it through every social media outlet you can work. I’m talking Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, and of course here at Blog Engage. In fact, I will be giving up points for the social media promos and it will look a little somthing like this:

I’ll give each approved post 50 points per tweet up to 1500 points (that’s 30 tweets)
I’ll give each approved post 50 point per Facebook like up to 1500 points
And I’ll give each approved post 50 points per each Linked In vote up to 1500 points
I’ll give each approved post 100 points for each Blog Engage vote and this one is unlimited.
And each approved post will receive 10 points for each comment that adds something to the post (spammy comments will not count)
And remember that contest post you need to write about on your own blog? If you help us promote this contest and link back to the Blog Engage site, I’ll give you another 500 points.

All Blog Engage community members are eligible to be part of this contest. The only requirement I ask is that you have a valid PayPal account in order to receive your payments. All prizes will be delivered 15 days after the contest ends.
Contest Sponsor reviews and spotlight posts will not be considered for this contest as it’s just too hard to keep track of all of them.

If you’ve done a guest post and fulfilled all the other requirements for this contest but still don’t see you’re post, it may be because you haven’t contacted me with the guest post you want put in for consideration. Send me an email with the post you want added and we’ll get it taken care of. admin(@)blogengage(.)com
